County Cup
Longlevens U16s 48
Cirencester U16s 12
CIRENCESTER U16s were full of confidence after a positive start to the new season but, as in recent meetings, they were not strong enough to hold Longlevens, writes Stuart Harris.
The first half started well for the visitors as they held their own, with both sides scoring tries. Ciren continued to hold most of the attacks at bay in the opening period.
Longlevens started the second half with renewed vigour, showing some very strong, co-ordinated attacking play.
Ciren defended valiantly, but were no match for the strong opposition.
