ENTRY for the popular Cotswold Spring Classic is due to open at 9am on Wednesday morning (November 8).

Next year sees the 10th edition of the Spring Classic and the event will once again be supporting Against Breast Cancer.

Starting and finishing in Cirencester, the route boasts a mixture of stunning scenery and some tough climbs.

With a choice of three well-signed routes (54km, 103km and 164km) there really is something for everyone.

Each route will be supported by motorcycle outriders, full medical cover (from GWAS Ambulance), mechanical support (from Performance Cycles) and include well-stocked feed stations.

And on your return to event HQ, you’ll be treated to a freshly cooked hot meal and your goodie bag, complete with limited edition medal.

Add in a free sports massage for all riders (although we do ask for a donation to Against Breast Cancer) and it represents superb value for money with the Easter Monday (April 2)event costing just £28 to enter.

To make it a holiday weekend of cycling, Easter Sunday sees a time trial for teams of four.

Organiser Andy Kirk said: “Last year the introduction of the 4-up time trial proved to be a great success.

"We limited it to just 25 teams to run it as a test event and the feedback we had from all the riders was amazing. By adding it to the Sunday it’s made it more of a weekend of events.”

The sportive is limited to just 1,000 riders and sells out well in advance. So don’t delay, set yourself a reminder for 9am next Wednesday and make sure you get your entry into the 2018 Cotswold Spring Classic.
