CIRENCESTER TOWN face Bristol City Under-21s on Wednesday night in the Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Cup, just two months after losing to the same side in the delayed final of the 2016 competition.
This time the first round tie will be played on the slick new 3G surface at the Corinium Stadium rather than the artificial pitch at Glos FA's Almondsbury HQ.
Back in August the City youngsters, managed by former Swindon Town boss Luke Williams, triumphed 4-2 to lift the trophy.
The winners of Wednesday's tie will face a home quarter final against Bristol Rovers U23/Reserves.
Kick off for the Cirencester Town v Bristol City U21s game is 7.30. It is a first team fixture.
Other quarter final ties in the Glos Senior Challenge Cup: Gloucester City v Shortwood United; Cinderford Town v Forest Green Rovers Res and Bristol Manor Farm v Yate Town or Bishops Cleeve.
