THE Cirencester and District Air Rifle and Pistol League fired its third shoot of the season at Down Ampney village hall on Tuesday.

Top team of the evening was South Cerney with 450 points, beating Smithy Transport (449) – who had two new members, P Heaven and M Witts – by just a single shot.

Third came Meysey Hampton (437) and fourth were Cirencester Vics (329).
