Poulton 2
South Cerney 2
SOUTH CERNEY started at a cracking pace on their visit to Poulton and could have been 3-0 up inside the first 15 minutes only to be let down by poor finishing.
Poulton eventually settled down and John Dawson put them ahead in the 21st minute following a mix-up in Cerney's defence.
Matt Garrett scored the equaliser for Cerney just before the interval, heading home powerfully from a corner.
The second half was fairly even and with 10 minutes remaining Cerney took the lead through Matt Lammond.
But three minutes from time Dawson scored his second goal of the afternoon to make it 2-2.
Dawson had the chance to complete a hat-trick and snatch victory for the hosts but put his last-minute shot just wide.
