Bill Burn Medal
JEFF SALTER played a magnificent round in the Bill Burn Medal, his gross 83 (net 65) claiming the overall win by a three-shot margin.
It was a day for good scores and John Anderson played his best round of the year scoring a gross 85 (net 68) to be second just ahead of James Donovan (gross 85, net 69).
In Division Two, Jack Bastow secured the win by one stroke from Mike Staples with a net 71. Paul Horrell and David Lowbridge took third and fourth places.
Cirencester 2½ Burford 3½
IN A close-fought match Burford seniors gained a 3½-2½ win on their visit to Cirencester.
Congratulations to Ian Perry & Robert Evans (3&2) and Tony Greatorex & Adrian Ruskell (6&4) who secured the home wins.
Bob Allen & Emrys Williams managed a half.
