Reading Standard Triathlon
A DELIGHTED Seanin McPherson recorded another great triathlon result at the weekend, this time in Reading.
Competing on a slightly over-standard distance, her time of 2hr 44min for the 1.5km swim, 44km bike ride and 11km run was good enough for first FV40 and second lady overall.
Wolverhampton Marathon
STEVE EDWARDS meantime ran his 794th marathon at Wolverhampton in a time of 3:17.49 for fourth MV50.
A very tired Steve said he just didn't have the legs to push any harder in the final few miles to catch the third-placed MV50 who finished just over a minute ahead.
However, looking at the bigger picture it's another one nearer to the 800 landmark record with six more to go and six weeks to run them in time for Birmingham if all goes to plan.
