FAIRFORD TOWN joint-boss Jody Bevan is hoping to sign Nick Stanley of Southern League side Evesham United on dual registration terms.
Stanley, 30, who lists Cirencester Town as one of his former clubs, turned out for Fairford Town of the Hellenic Premier on Saturday in their pre-season friendly against the academy side of Oxford United.
The impressive youngsters won 2-0.
"Nick is very much part of Evesham's plans still," said Bevan.
"Evesham boss Paul Collicutt wanted to get him some game time as he had been away on holiday and I was happy to oblige as we had a few away.
"I've briefly discussed the possibility of dual registration, particularly with our season starting so early, but we'll see what happens."
