County Under-25s Singles
FAIRFORD'S Tom Luce has made it through to the County Under-25 Singles final where he will face Nathan Kitchen (Cheltenham), who has reached the final for the fifth consecutive year.

Luce beat Jack Daniels in his semi-final at the Barnwood Bowls Club.

He was gaining revenge over Daniels having lost to the same player at this stage last season.

Both players were tied at three all after six ends before Luce hit a purple patch, winning the next five ends to go 10-3 ahead.

Still in the driving seat despite dropping a single, Luce powered away with another six shots against two. Daniels then picked up three winning ends that gave him five shots to close the gap to 16-11.

Luce then scored a single and on the 22nd end finished on a high to reach the final with a four for a 21-11 win.

Kitchen also won his semi 21-11 against Ben Coldrick (Cheltenham).

Both winners will now meet in the county finals at Moreton-in-Marsh on September 3 and will also represent the county at the National Championships at Leamington in August.
