Pre-Season Friendly
Tuffley Rovers 3
Cirencester Town 3
CIRENCESTER Town visited Glevum Park to face Hellenic League Premier Division side Tuffley Rovers – managed by former Centurions Mark Pritchett and Shayne Anson – for their latest pre-season friendly and came away with a 3-3 draw after leading 3-1 in an entertaining, competitive match.
The visitors opened the scoring through Connor Teague but the hosts equalised before the interval when Brett James converted a low cross.
Cirencester regained the lead with a superb 35-yard strike from Ben Whitehead that clipped the inside of the left post before nestling in the back of the net and increased it with a fine solo goal from Felipe Barcelos.
Three minutes later Tuffley pulled a goal back when Sam Hill was on hand to finish from the edge of the six-yard box.
During the latter stages the home side pressed and were rewarded when Shayne Bradley struck a fierce shot into the top right corner to level the score.
