ANOTHER day, another signing for Dave Flitcroft's Swindon Town.

After bolstering his defence (Chris Robertson) and midfield (James Dunne), Flitcroft has now signed striker Paul Mullin from Morecambe for an undisclosed fee.

The striker has put pen to paper on a two-year contract at The County Ground and linked up with his new team-mates for pre-season training today.

Mullin started his footballing career with Liverpool before going on to sign for Huddersfield Town in 2013.

Despite not making a first-team appearance for The Terriers, the forward was snapped up by Morecambe in 2014 and he went on to rack up 102 appearances for the club.

He averaged 10 goals a season in his three years at the club but did pick up the Sky Bet League Two Goal of the Month in March with a delicious curling left-footed strike against Orient. Mullin will add to Town’s attacking options for the 2017/18 campaign and the 22-year-old is relishing the chance to make his mark at a "massive" club.

“I’m made up to be here. It is a massive club,” he told swindontownfc.co.uk.

“The move came about very fast to be fair. I spoke to the gaffer a couple of days ago and we got it over the line very quickly.

“The new gaffer has given everyone a lift, the club seems to be on the up again and promotion is obviously the aim."
