Cirencester 5 Stinchcombe Hill 2
CIRENCESTER seniors turned in some golf to match the incredible heat last Tuesday as they beat Stinchcombe Hill 5-2 – a great performance in the conditions.
Gerry Bruton & Graham Morgan (6&4) enjoyed the biggest win, closely followed by seniors' captain Mike Helyer partnered by Mike Staples (6&5).
There were also victories for Mark Shipley & John Morris (1up) and Paul Horrell & Emrys Williams (3&2), with halved matches for Ian Perry & John Hall as well as John King & Neil Halls.
