Gothenburg Half Marathon
VIV D'ALTON of North Cotswold Tri & Run had a great run in Sweden's Gothenburg Half Marathon to finish with a new PB of 1:55.24 which earned her a top 15 per cent finish in her FV age group.
Worcester Full & Half Marathon
CLOSER to home, Chris Krzywiec made his debut at the full marathon distance in Worcester recording an amazing 2:53.22 to finish in third place.
Not to be outdone his other half Kate Krzywiec went two places better and won the Worcester Half Marathon in a new PB time of 1:29.46, her first ever win and first sub 1:30 half marathon.
Mike Hobbs also ran the full marathon in a very respectable finish time of 3:28.04, while Andrew Evans ran the half marathon in 1:38.47 to comfortably beat his pre-race 1:40 target.
Brathay Windermere Marathon
STEVE EDWARDS ran his 781st marathon on the scenic but tough Windermere marathon around England's largest lake in a time of 3:19.53 to finish second in his MV50 age category.
Phoenix Sprint Triathlon, Ragley Hall Warwickshire
SEANIN MCPHERSON completed the Phoenix Sprint Triathlon at Ragley Hall which involved a 750M open water lake swim, 23k bike ride and a 5k run to finish fifth female overall and second in her FV40-49 age category.
Blackrat Mediofonso Sportive
SUE WHITEHILL was delighted to complete the tough Blackrat Mediofonso Sportive which involves cycling 73 hilly miles over the Severn Bridge into Wales with 4,409 feet of climbing in a time of 5:58.05.
