Kings Langley 1

Cirencester Town 0

CIRENCESTER TOWN have been relegated after losing 1-0 to relegation rivals Kings Langley in a tepid low key affair for such an important game.

But the result brought joy to the hosts who have survived in the Southern Premier.

The only goal of the game came in the 28th minute when Steve Ward tapped home a cross from Jerry Amoo, the game's best player.

Ciren had plenty of possession in the second half but failed to test keeper Xavi Comas once.

Charlie Griffin will now attempt to rebuild a sqaud for the Southern League South & West in the 2017/18 when his side will be playing on a new 3G pitch.

Chippenham Town finished the season as champions.
