Boston Marathon

MARK MANLEY, of the Running Somewhere Else club, has completed his sixth world major marathon when he added the Boston Marathon on Monday to previous efforts in London, Tokyo, Berlin, New York and Chicago.

The historic Boston course started at Main Street in the rural New England town of Hopkinton and followed route 135, taking in the many incredible sights along the way before finishing near the John Hancock Tower in Copley Square.

Huge congratulations to Mark who despite the hills and the heat finished in 3:52.42.

Yeovil Easter Bunny 10k

PHIL SCOBLE was among 400 competitors who ran in the Yeovil Easter Bunny 10k on Monday.

The annual event is run on a fairly flat course and took the runners around the villages of West Camel and Podimore. Phil had a great result finishing in 53.56 for a PB.
