WILTSHIRE completed their warm-up matches with two defeats on Sunday and Monday.

On Sunday they played Berkshire at North Maidenhead CC and lost by 132 runs.

Berkshire therefore regained the Marlborough Cup after a period of four years.

Berkshire won the toss and scored 304-8 wickets in their 50 overs.

In reply Wiltshire were never in the hunt, being all out for 172 off 42 overs.

On Monday Wiltshire played Dorset at North Perrott and lost a close match by two wickets.

Put in to bat Wiltshire were all out for 195 off 48 overs. Neil Clark top-scored with 54.

In reply Dorset were struggling at 37-5 wickets until a partnership of 102 between Luke Webb (58) and Sam Thomson (49) regained the initiative and Dorset got home by two wickets with 11 balls remaining scoring 196-8.

On Sunday, Wiltshire commence their group matches in the Unicorns Knockout Trophy with a match against Buckinghamshire at Warminster starting at 11am.
