Ladies' section
A BUSY Easter weekend for the ladies' section of Cirencester Golf Club saw lots of knockout matches being played.
April Medal
ADDITIONALLY, on Thursday, 31 ladies played in the April Medal.
Division One and overall winner was Blanche Neal, one of the last starters of the day who ended her round as darkness fell.
Blanche came in with a fantastic score of net 68, although her playing partners did not do so well – we know who we are.
Runner-up was Annie Fisher (70) and third Jessica Brown (74).
Winner of Division Two was Jan Stephens with 69 points, from Jane Salter (74) and Liz Kidman (75).
Four ladies recorded twos and 11 birdies were marked up on the birdie tree.
On Friday, the social committee held an Easter Egg hunt and painting competition for 30 children followed by lunch.
