LAST TUESDAY evening at Down Ampney Village Hall the Cirencester and District Air Rifle and Pistol League fired its 26th shoot of the season.

Top team was Smithy Transport, brilliantly led by secretary Mark Smith's personal best 99, which helped them to a total of 459. Second were South Cerney (436), ahead of Meysey Hampton (408) and Cirencester Vics (89 with only one shooter).
