A RECORD entry of 500 runners is expected for the 19th running of the Chedworth Roman Trail 10-mile multi-terrain race on Sunday, April 9.
The scenic Cotswold course runs through the Stowell Park estate and Coln Valley close to the famous Chedworth Roman Villa.
There will be a few changes to this year's course by reducing the public road section at the start and taking in the edge of Chedworth, passing the church.
Despite the large number of entries, runners will be able to enter on the day at Chedworth Village Hall between 9 and 10am. The race starts at 10.30am.
