WILTSHIRE’S Bradley Scott returns to the octagon this Saturday at the UFC’s Fight Night event in London.
The Melksham-based fighter will be back under the lights of the O2 Arena, hoping to make amends for a disappointing points decision loss in his last outing for the mixed martial arts promotion.
The 27-year-old has returned from his pre-fight training camp in Phoenix, Arizona, and says he’s feeling better than ever.
Speaking to the Standard, he said: “Everything’s going well, I’ve had a great camp.
“My weight cut has been fantastic and I’ve stayed injury free.”
The mixed martial artist will be facing Scott Askham, a fellow Englishman and middleweight, in three five-minute rounds on Saturday.
Bradley feels his style matches up well to his opponent.
“He’s a tall southpaw, good on the ground,” he said.
“I think I suit him. I’m not too bothered about fighting a taller guy.”
The Wiltshire fighter says he’s hoping for “fireworks” in his fight and wants to take home the £50,000 win bonus so he can “hit the streets of Gloucester with a new moped”.
