ABBEYMEAD Rovers and Stroud have now pulled several points clear of the chasing pack after the third round of the Glos FA Walking Football League at Inside Football, Brimscombe on Tuesday, writes Peter Mitchell.
Abbeymead won all three of their games and now top the table by two points.
Cirencester Phoenix Force picked up four points from their three games mainly thanks to stand-in goalkeeper, Robbie Williams' acrobatic form.
The one consolation for Phoenix was their narrow win over close rivals Malmesbury Marauders.
