TETBURY Town FC has got the ball rolling for the next two seasons thanks to a sponsorship from local housebuilder, CALA Homes.

The upmarket developer, whose High Trees development is located on Cirencester Road, has made the donation to enable the club to purchase a new kit for its second team.

Tracey Woodward, chairwoman at Tetbury Town FC, said: “Donations of this kind are extremely important to us, and we’re thrilled to be working so closely with CALA Homes.

"The team here works incredibly hard, so this new sponsorship is an excellent reward for their efforts. The new kit looks fantastic and we can’t wait to see it in action.”

Established in 1900, Tetbury Town FC comprises three senior teams, and a further seven youth teams with more than 150 children signed to the club. Its home grounds are based on Cirencester Road and New Church Street.

Gill Sabin, sales and marketing director for CALA Homes Midlands, said: “It is our aspiration to create a positive legacy in the communities in which we build, and we are delighted to have been able to help Tetbury Town FC in this way.

"Local football clubs do a wonderful job in fostering community spirit and we hope this season brings the club plenty of success.”
