Cirencester & District Air Rifle and Pistol League

ON TUESDAY evening the Cirencester and District Air Rifle and Pistol League fired its 15th shoot of the season at Down Ampney Village Hall.

Top team of the evening was again Meysey Hampton with 443 from Smithy Transport (440), South Cerney (350) and Cirencester Vics (92) who had just one shooter.

Winners were Gary MacDonald and Harry Wills on 185. Runner-up was Joe Carter (184) and third Mark Smith (178).

Div I: No shooters.

League members please note the next six-yard shooting evening will be held at Down Ampney Village Hall on Tuesday, February 28 at 7.30pm when the Margaret Tugwell Memorial Cup (three cards air rifle, one card air pistol).
