GREAT BRITAIN international and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games prospect Billy Shilton starred on a rare appearance in the Stroud Table Tennis League last Monday.

The Stonehouse player, who now lives and trains in Sheffield to further his international career, visited Cirencester Deer Park School and helped Woodchester B inflict an 8-2 defeat on the hosts.

Clive Ellison and Shilton both scored maximums for the visitors.

Phoenix B also suffered a 2-8 home defeat at the hands of Frampton A. Abu Salehbhai finished as man of the match with a maximum for the visitors.

Dave Hadley scored a maximum and was man of the match for Phoenix A when they shared the points at five apiece with the visiting Forest Green A Andy Cox scored a maximum and led his Yate team to a 7-3 victory on their visit to Frampton B.
