BRIAN HAMMOND has been confirmed the winner of the Charles Griffin-Jones Salver for seniors at Cirencester Golf Club.
The salver is decided by the best three scores in five competitions and last week's Seniors Stableford was the final qualifier.
Hammond snuck up on the rails to get his nose past Graham Marshall, while the consistent John Canty managed to overtake the previous leader John Hartley.
Second, third and fourth places were decided on countback.
Future Seniors Stablefords will count towards the Summer Goddard Cup best-of series.
