Three-time Olympic gold medal winner Pete Reed will be a special guest at Forest Green's home clash with Braintree Town on Saturday.
The Nailsworth rower will be introduced to the New Lawn crowd at half-time.
Reed previously watched Rovers in 2012 in 1-1 draw against Alfreton, where he paraded his London Olympics gold medal.
And Forest Green players even performed a “rowing” goal celebration following Yan Klukowski’s 10th-minute opener against Alfreton after sports editor Ashley Loveridge put the idea to Yan Klukowski, who scored in the draw.
Klukowski said at the time: "We wanted to pay tribute to Pete for all the effort and dedication he has put into his sport."
Reed has just been awarded an OBE in the New Year's Honours list after his latest gold medal performance in Rio, and is now working towards the next Olympics games being held in Tokyo in 2020.
