Richmond Park 10k

A NUMBER of Running Somewhere Else lady members travelled to Richmond Park in Surrey on Saturday to compete in the 10k.

The crisp, winter's morning brought out more than 200 runners who raced through the stunning setting of Richmond Park.

First home for the club was Sarah Gray (59.45), followed by Tracey Pitts (1:01.05), Tracy Edginton (1:02.15), Pauline Tilbury (1:05.44), Sallie Clatworthy (1:05.54), Caroline Terry (1:13.29) and Laura Butler 1:15.07).

Linda Franks 5-mile

IT WAS a day of PBs for several RSE members at the Linda Franks 5-mile race near Cheltenham on Sunday. Even though the weather was wet and miserable, more than 200 runners turned out for this annual event.

First home for the club – and in his first five-mile race – was Mark Manley who finished in 32.44 (PB).

He was followed home by Matt Lambourne (33.06), Dave Witnall (33.22), Jonathan Lewis (34.50 – PB), Amelia Culshaw (36.26 – PB), Karl Brakespear (36.45 – PB), Martin Pitts (36.49), Elaine Chapman (37.10 – PB), Nadine Brown (38.42 – PB), Kirsty Pitts (39.17), Cat Shelley (40.21 – PB), Amanda Tyler (42.48), Caroline Coates (47.24) and Amy Brakespear (52.30 – PB).

Gloucestershire AAA award

CONGRATULATIONS to Amelia Culshaw who gained a well deserved placing in the Gloucestershire AAA road race series 2016.

She finished third in her age category (FV40) and collected her medal at the annual awards evening on Friday at the Gloucester Civic Centre.
