THORNBURY A have taken a commanding lead at the top of the division after beating their closest contenders Forest Green A on their home turf.
Maximums from Dave Reeves and Anthony Kent ensured the visitors came away with a 7-3 win.
Phoenix A went down 3-7 at home to Woodchester B with Clive Ellison finishing as man of the match for the visitors on a maximum.
Phoenix B were edged out 4-6 at home by Yate, although Liwu Wei was unbeaten in singles for the home side.
Maximum scores for Dave Lloyd and Mark Farrow guided Woodchester A to a comfortable 8-2 victory over the visiting Frampton B.
There was no game in this round of matches for Cirencester.
