CIRENCESTER RFC director of rugby Andy Deacon picked himself for the visit of Chosen Hill Former Pupils on Saturday after a run of three successive defeats.
But the visitors left The Whiteway with the spoils after a hard-fought 26-16 victory.
Ciren were still within a score of their high-flying opponents until conceding an injury-time try.
