NICK Morris has agreed a new deal to stay with Swindon for the 2017 season.
Morris has been backed to bounce back from an inconsistent year by Robins boss Alun Rossiter.
And the rider himself said an Abbey Stadium return was always his first choice.
“Everything about it makes sense for me,” he said.
“I am based in Swindon, it’s also where my workshop facility is and it’s very much a second home to me.
“The new stadium is also an exciting development and I’m really pleased to be staying. Hopefully I can have more time on the bike next year and have a good one.”
Rossiter said: “I’m a fan of Nick, we know what he’s capable of but it was a hard year for him this year.
“He’s the kind of rider who can improve his average and I’m pleased to have him back with us for 2017.”
Morris joins Jason Doyle and new signings David Bellego and Adam Ellis in the Robins team for the SGB Premiership.
