CIRENCESTER Town manager Charlie Griffin has recruited two new attacking players in a bid to boost the side's hopes of survival, while set to extend the loan deal of an existing defender.

Elijah Chilekwah is the latest to sign for Cirencester. A former Bristol City winger and Welsh U19 international whose previous club was Worcester City, the Gambian born youngster could be a useful addition.

Having impressed in Bristol City's academy to earn himself a place in the Wales U17 squad and a call-up to the Wales U19s', Chilekwah could be a shrewd acquisition.

James Difford has also arrived at the Corinium Stadium. The striker is also a Bristol City academy player and has joined Cirencester for a month's loan.

Defender Alfie Kilgour, who has impressed at the heart of the backline for Town, has extended his loan from Bristol Rovers for another month.

Charlie Griffin is desperate to turn Cirencester's poor form around in the Evo-Stick Southern Premier League Division, with the struggling club currently occupying the final relegation spot 14 games into the season.

He'll be hoping his two new recruits can help arest the slide.
