Ashton Keynes U17s 6
Croft U17s 2
EWAN PALMER scored two key goals which tipped the balance of the game in favour of Ashton Keynes U17s.
Ashton had the lion's share of possession in the first half and took the lead 30 minutes in when Lee Plaistow found Adam Robbins free in the middle to head home.
The home side were rejuvenated after the break as they scored three times in 20 minutes, a brace coming from Palmer to put him on four for the season and another for Robbins.
Croft muster some spirit and grabbed two goals in quick succession only for the tide to be changed again as Frazer Heal delivered to the far post for David Arnett to get himself off the mark this term.
To finish proceedings, Lewis Griffin played Heal through behind the back line and he volleyed home into the bottom corner.
MoM: Ewan Palmer.
