M4 Karting Cirencester League Div One
Poulton 1
Hatherop 3
WITH both sides revelling in the perfect playing conditions on an excellent pitch, Hatherop got back to winning ways with a 3-1 victory at Poulton.
The visitors had most of the ball in what proved a tight first half and eventually broke through a resolute Poulton defence when Fabian Daniels and Richie Crocker combined and Crocker's low drive was deflected into the Poulton net.
The second half was much the same until Hatherop keeper Nick Stevenson had a moment of madness and was dismissed.
Andy Easton donned the goalkeeper's jersey, flapping at everything but somehow managing to keep the ball out.
Crocker then rounded the keeper and was brought down, converting the penalty himself to make it 2-1.
Despite being down to 10 men, Hatherop sealed the points when Matt Townsend added a third goal.
