MINCHINHAMPTON Rams made a determined start to their league season with an emphatic 49-19 victory over Chosen Hill III.
With club legend James Uys playing, the Rams immediately asserted their dominance in all aspects of play.
However, a dogged Chosen Hill showed great spirit and determination.
All the Rams' tries came from clean and quick ball from the forwards allowing the backs to run and zig zag through the opposition defence.
Jack Rosewell and Henry Radcliffe both continued their impressive form with some stunning play and offloads.
It was a well deserved victory and with the quality and depth among their players, the Rams can look forward to an exciting season.
