CIRENCESTER'S B team suffered their first home defeat of the season against a strong Cotswold Hills side who proved better equipped to deal with the wet and windy conditions.
In the lead match the home team pairing of captain Jonathan Wells and Paul Jenkins were three down after three holes but managed to get back to all square at the turn before pulling away on the back nine.
The other Cirencester victory came from Duncan Barnes & Andrew Miles.
