DANNY KENT finished fourth, fifth and 10th in the three free practice sessions ahead of the Moto2 grand prix at Brno in the Czech Republic.
Tetbury's Kent, the reigning Moto3 world champion, is fresh from his second best placing of the season (12th) last week in Austria.
Significantly, his Leopard Racing team-mate Miguel Oliveira also recorded fast times in free practice.
Kent has been no worse than 12th in his last four visits to Brno including a podium finish in 2014.
