Men's Open
GOLFERS from Oake Manor GC near Taunton took away the lion's share of the prizes in the 2016 Men's Open team event at Cirencester Golf Club last Friday.
Teams from the Somerset club finished first and fifth in the competition.
In total 124 players took part from 21 clubs, some from as far afield as Devon and Middlesex as well as the Somerset-based winners.
The course was in perfect condition, the weather benign and many club members kindly provided assistance to the organisers on the day.
