Sherborne 10K

SUNDAY'S Sherborne 10K was made more challenging than usual by the recent rain with the runners returning plastered in mud. However the beautiful scenery of Sherborne Park more than made up for that.

Robin Goodwill had a great run, finishing fifth overall and first senior man in 44.12. Next in was Andy Peaston who showed his turn of speed to come home in 47.12, closely chased by Niamh Shoemark who won the FV45 prize in 47.33.

Chris Dry, having competed at Kingham the day before, recorded a very creditable 54.28 and it was good to see husband and wife team Mark and Esther Phipp out in 55.46 and 57.31.
