TEAMS from the Bibury FC alley continue to do well in the preliminary matches of the Gasket Guy British Skittles Championships 2016.
The Cotswold Cavaliers took on the Renegades at home and ran out 26-point winners.
The home side pulled ahead in the first leg by 10 pins and kept increasing their advantage throughout the game.
Dave Williams had both the highest score (56 pins) and the highest stick-up (16).
The two sides have to meet again in the reverse fixture on the Renegades alley.

10cc enjoyed a fine away victory over Poshtits of Sharpness in their first game of this year's championships.
It was a hard-fought game throughout with the lead swapping in many of the legs.
On leg 4 10cc put in a 40-pin score and from that point never looked back.
Highest score came from Ken Wells with a total of 34 pins.
