LUCKLESS Henry Trinder has had to undergo further surgery on his right knee and will be ruled out of playing action for the foreseeable future.
The 27-year-old Gloucester centre battled back to fitness last season following an injury to the same knee in February 2015, but suffered a new injury towards the end of the season.
The new injury is not as severe as the previous one but surgical repair was deemed to be necessary.
Former Cirencester RFC junior Henry, originally from Bagendon, underwent the procedure last week and will now embark upon an extended rehabilitation programme.
