GOLF: Cirencester seniors in top form against Stinchcombe

CIRENCESTER Golf Club seniors played two matches recently against Stinchcombe Hill and Cotswold Hills.
The home match against Stinchcombe was the best result for Cirencester this year with the home team securing a 5½ to 1½ victory.
The best results were posted by seniors captain Andrew Tunnicliffe & Mike Bishop along with Mike Helyer & Patrick Moylan, both pairings claiming 5&3 wins.
Cirencester visited Cotswold Hills Golf Club to play the annual away match on the very well prepared course at Ullenwood.
This match was won by Cotswold Hills 6-2, the two Cirencester wins coming from John Parsons & Patrick Moylan and Mark Woodhead & Mike Bishop, both games by the margin of 4&3.
