THE Two Taps skittles team have started their quest to become British champions.
Playing at their home ally in Bibury, Two Taps beat the The Humpty Dumpty's from Worcester by 15 pins.
It was a close game early on with the lead switching from one team to the other.
Nearing the end of the game, Clive Osborne and Nik Adams from Two Taps both scored spares.
Clive's 11 and 12 gave him a total pin count of 53.
Nik had a 13 and an 11 to bring his aggregate to 50.
L Wilks from The Humpty Dumpty's had a spare of 10. The final pin count was Two Taps 328, The Humpty Dumpty's 313.
Two Taps will travel to Worcester for the reverse fixture on July 23.
