MALMESBURY Bowls Club hosted their annual Open Day on Saturday.
Despite the inclement weather they had plenty of visitors, several of whom decided to join the club on the day.
Some visitors also expressed an interest in coming to the club roll-ups on Monday afternoons at 2.15pm or Thursday evenings from 6pm. These sessions are open to anyone who wants to try bowls and there is always a member to give advice on getting started.
The club welcomes new members of all ages. Bowls is one of the few sports in which men and women can compete equally, while getting some gentle exercise both physically and mentally.
