MARK BOOTH has taken over as chairman of Cirencester Park Polo Club.
He takes over from Kuldip Singh Dhillon who is stepping down after four years in the role. Kuldip is to continue as vice-chairman.
Mark has been on the board of directors at the polo club for many years and more recently has chaired the finance committee.
He was a regular on the Cirencester polo fields with his Wildmoor team and has won some of the club’s most prestigious silverware including the County Cup in 2006 and the Queen Mother Trophy no fewer than three times.
On the field of play, the first leg of the Women In Polo ladies' tournament took place.
Foxcote ran out 6-1 winners over New Forest Decibells in an exciting final on Sunday.
Seriously Cool Events secured third place by winning 6-2½ in the subsidiary final over Fyfield Flyers.
