Performance Cycles

THERE were wins for Jacob Pilkington, Jo Jago and Dan Guest as Performance Cycles’ early-season form continues at apace.

Thruxton Evening Series

LAST Tuesday a number of riders headed down to the Thruxton motor racing circuit for the evening race series.

Pilkington continued his run of great form with a fantastic win.

Having broken away from the field early in the race, alongside a rider from Ride 24/7, the pair worked well to build up a lead that could not be shut down by the rest of the field.

Coming into the final lap, the race was on and Jacob pulled away from his companion to cross the line for a fantastic solo win.

Latton 10-Mile TT series

LAST Thursday riders were back in action at the Latton 10-Mile TT series.

Dan Guest once again took top billing with a super quick time of 21min 15sec to finish ahead of Pete Hutchinson and Niel Dunnage who recorded times of 22.38 and 23.03 respectively.

The wet and windy conditions meant there was a lower rider turn-out than in recent weeks, but Performance Cycles still managed to place three riders inside the top five, as well as having the fastest lady (Harriet Guest, in a time of 26.17).

Bristol South Open 25-Mile TT

THE weekend saw the women’s team captain Jo Jago in action at the Bristol South Open 25-Mile TT.

In wet and windy conditions, Jo produced a superb ride to come within seconds of her 25-mile personal best to win the women’s category on the day.
