CIRENCESTER BC opened their competitive outdoor season on Sunday, April 24 with a loss to visitors Sir Thomas Rich's Bowling Club.

Cirencester Mixed lost to Sir Thomas Rich's

Rink 1 – Malcolm Hunt, David Mold, Liz Higgs and skip Ted Matthews lost by four.

Rink 2 – Pat Brett, Tony Blane, Chris Rowls and skip Ann Jones lost by four.

Rink 3 – Vera Sinnott, Cynthia Brett, Brian Read and skip Alan Parker lost by seven.

Rink 4 – Jason Bentley, Eddie Perrettson, Pam Ayres and skip Ian Church won by one.

Rink 5 – Wendy Perrettson, Les Andrews, Terry Tipper and skip Sue Dyer lost by six.

Nailsworth lost to Cirencester Ladies

Rink 1 – Val Loveridge, Dawn Rowlands and skip Liz Higgs lost by five.

Rink 2 – Vera Sennott, Sue Morgans and skip Maggie Edney won by seven.

Rink 3 – Cynthia Brett and skip Kathie Cottey won by 11.

Swindon County lost to Cirencester Mixed

Rink 1 – Irene Hawkins, Dawn Rowlands and skip Ted Matthews won by three.

Rink 2 – Les Andrews, Cynthia Brett and skip Peter Cottey won by 19.

Rink 3 – Vera Sinnott, Terry Tipper and skip John Barrett lost by one.

Rink 4 – Jason Bentley, Maggie Edney and skip Liz Higgs won by 12.
