FOREST GREEN have announced that they have parted company with boss Ady Pennock.

The SNJ understands Pennock's backroom team have also left the New Lawn, including assistant manager Jamie Day, goalkeeping coach Glyn Jones and fitness coach Neil Withington.

Academy boss Scott Bartlett has been placed in caretaker charge for the final National League game of the season at Dover Athletic on Saturday and will preside over the play-off semi-finals, which start next Wednesday.

Pennock side have secured second place in the table but Rovers are without a win in seven games.

The 45-year-old had been in charge since replacing Dave Hockaday in 2013.

Last season he took Rovers to the play-offs where they lost out to Bristol Rovers.

This season the Nailsworth outfit posted a club record by winning their opening nine games.
