CIRENCESTER ABC'S Sammy Varey, 11, made a successful ring debut for the club when beating J Benson from the Hope and Glory ABC at a show hosted by Ana ABC in Wales.
The first round saw the Welsh boxer come flying out of his corner but he had no answer to Varey's ability.
The Cirencester youngster kept his opponent at arm's length and landed good quality left and right hand punches on his way to taking a unanimous points decision.
Cirencester coach Simon Knowles said: "What a great little bout Sammy had against a strong Welsh lad, boxing really well at long range.''
Cirencester ABC have five fighters entered into the England Boxing Schools Championships which start this week.
