THE Minchinhampton Old Course Pro-Am takes place on Friday, May 6 and once again the event is sold out with 54 teams due to compete.
Top professionals from the West Region PGA together with several European Tour players including Phillip Price, will contest the £8,000 prize fund as well as the £5,000 hole in one prize on the 16th green.
The club is celebrating its 25th pro-am this year and to mark the occasion they have booked Paul Barrington, the former world trick shot champion and twice the British long drive champion, to give a demonstration at 6pm on the first tee. This show is free to all.
This year’s tournament is sponsored by Carlsberg and supported by local companies Edgeworth & Co, Gardiners, Autocrafts Services and Rover European Travel.
