WILL Young to perform after the racing at Newbury Racecourse’s Betfred Ladies Day on Saturday, August 13.
Will, a Newbury local, found fame as the first winner of Pop Idol, has since released four albums that have all topped the UK charts, including his latest, 85% Proof, in 2015.
Julian Thick, Newbury’s Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to announce that Will Young will be performing after a day of high quality racing action on Betfred Ladies Day.
“As a multi-award winning artist with a host of number one albums to his name and a local connection we’re expecting a great crowd to see him round off one of the highlights of our summer season.”
